# About Customers

> Create and edit Customers from the Razorpay Dashboard or using APIs.

You can create customers with basic details such as name and contact details and use them for various Razorpay solution offerings. You can perform the following actions using the Dashboard:

## Create a Customer

To create a customer from the Dashboard:

1. Log in to the Dashboard.
2. Navigate to **Customers**.
3. Click **+ New Customer**.
4. Fill details and click **Save**.

## Edit Customer Details

To edit a customer from the Dashboard:

1. Log in to the Dashboard.
2. Navigate to **Customers**.
3. Select the customer you want to edit.
4. Click **Edit** available under **Actions**.
5. Edit details and click **Save**.
