Who Can Become a Partner

To become a partner you must meet the following requirements.
The Razorpay Partnership Program welcomes partners from anywhere in the world.
  • Whether you are based in India, the United States, Indonesia, Canada or any other country, you can join Razorpay’s global partner network. For example, if you operate a business like Acme Corp from the United States, you can become a Razorpay partner.
  • Partners can sign up for programs in India and/or Malaysia. For instance, if you operate Acme Corp from the United States, you have the flexibility to become a Razorpay partner in India, Malaysia or both markets simultaneously.
  • You can only onboard merchants operating in the country where you have registered as a partner. For example, if you have joined the Razorpay Partnership Program exclusively in India, you can refer only Indian businesses. Similarly, if you have registered as a partner only in Malaysia, you can refer only Malaysian businesses.

Partner Types

Razorpay supports the following types of Partners where each Partner type has different levels of control on Sub-merchants and gets access to different types of data. All partners are onboarded as Service partners. Based on your requirement, you can request to switch to Technology partner.
  • Service Partners
    Businesses or individuals who refer and/or integrate Razorpay for their clients. Service partners are not involved in managing transactions for clients.
  • Technology Partners
    Marketplaces or platforms who refer and/or integrate Razorpay for their clients. Technology partners might be involved in managing funds for clients.
