Slack Integration

Connect and use the Slack app integration to apply leaves, reimbursements, view holiday lists and more.

You can use your official Slack account to apply for leaves, reimbursements, check the status of approval, view payslips and more. You must connect your Slack account with Payroll to start using the Slack app integration.

Watch Out!

This is possible only if your organisation has integrated with Slack using the Slack Integration Guide.

Connect to Payroll

To connect your Slack account with Payroll:

1. Log in to your official Slack account.
2. Navigate to Apps in your account and select RazorpayX Payroll. Else, you can also go to any channel and type /xpayroll to initiate the process.
3. Once initiated, your Payroll account opens in the browser with the option to complete the connection. Select CONNECT.

Watch Out!

Ensure you are signed in to your Payroll account.

After you complete the configuration, you can check the list of commands available to you via the Slack app.

List of Commands

Refer to the following list of commands you can use in the Slack app. Enter the commands with /.

Command	Description
/apply-leave	Employees can apply for leaves and get notified of their leave status; Admins and Managers can approve/reject leaves.
/on-leave	Employees and the team can check their team members on leave for the next 5 days.
/leave-balance	Employees can check their leave balance instantly.
/reimburse	Employees can apply for reimbursements and get notified of the status when Admins or Managers approve/reject reimbursements, both within the Slack app.
/payslip	Employees can view their payslips.
/holiday	Employees can easily access to the organisation’s holiday list.
/check-in and /check-out	Employees can check in and check out for attendance.
